About (Me)

I’ve been working in TV and New Media production my entire career.

I’m a Producer at Digital Ranch Productions, in Sherman Oaks, CA (LA Metro Area).  Digital Ranch produces award-winning documentary television for networks Discovery Channel, History Channel, Animal Planet, Investigation Discovery, and truTV, among others.

I currently serve as Co-Producer on two ‘true-crime’ series: Solved, on Investigation Discovery, and the upcoming series Hardcover Mysteries.  My job entails discovering, researching, and writing up interesting homicide investigations, convincing police, prosecutors, journalists, and friends to take part, setting up complex interview shoots all over the country, improving scripts, shooting ‘re-enactments,’ tracking down disparate pieces of media for use in the show, shepherding the program through post production, and delivering it on time and on budget to the Network.

I also blog about the transition from Old-to-New Media at The New Mediator.

I’m in the process of developing a web-based business, RowdSource, which will harness the power of millions of people on smart phones– more info on that as it develops.

While in college, I interned in the Art Department at Muzzy Lane Software, a computer game startup in Newburyport, MA.  I modeled 3D in-game-graphics, and also did a lot of development work on their website.

I attended Boston University, where I majored in Film & TV.  I graudated suma cum laude in ‘05.
