After 6-months of (part time) work, Nino Lopez and I have finally finished Episode One of ‘Façade.’

Drawing inspiration from EC Comics and the original Twilight Zone series, Façade is a dynamic collection of gripping and thought-provoking short stories. As an anthology series, Façade explores a mix of genres, such as fantasy, science fiction, suspense, and horror.

I’m really proud of the episode, and of the visual style we’ve created for it.  I’m even more excited for potential future episodes– we’ve begun pre-production on Episode Two already.  Please check it out and comment, to let me know what you think!

The third season of the series I Co-Produce, SOLVED, premiered on Monday with an episode I co-produced, ‘The Prodigy.’  It’s a great episode, so check it out on re-runs if you missed the premiere.

The second episode of this season is also one of mine: ‘Time For Justice’ tells the story of the murder of Carrie Nelson at Blue Mounds State Park.  A very disturbing story.

SOLVED airs Mondays at 9pm on Investigation Discovery (ID)– only six episodes this season, so start watching.

We’ve already completed interviews for my first two shows, and I’m sending a crew out for a third episode next week.

Tim Permenter finds his girlfriend, Karen Pannell’s lifeless body lying in a pool of blood. Police see a clue on a wall near her body written in blood, the word “Roc”. But did Karen write the words herself?

This is my first episode as Co-Producer, and it’s a pretty compelling program.  I personally co-produced four additional episodes of Solved this year, and I’ll post when they’re airing.

My first longform post is up: ‘On The Future of Newspapers.’  I examine the decline of the newspaper industry in the digital age, the recent Congressional Subcomitee hearing on the matter, and how the Kindle just may save newspapers.

My crew arrived back from their shoot in Tampa, FL today.  The story we’re doing has not been done for TV before.

It’s about how the emerging niche culture will pose a real threat to conservatism.
